Herversee – Hygienist

I graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in biology from Trinity University in Washington, DC. I furthered my education in dental care at Fortis College in Landover, where I earned an associate’s degree in dental hygiene. I am a member of the American Dental Hygienists’ Association.

I am very passionate about preventive dental care and LOVE what I do. I look forward to interacting with my patients and hopefully making a lasting impression. My mission as a hygienist and preventive care specialist is to save one smile at a time.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family. Two of our favorite things to do are travel and eat. I am a self-proclaimed foodie and chef.

I look forward to meeting each of you and sharing the knowledge I have acquired. So bring your best smile and I will handle the rest.

Michelle – Hygienist

I graduated from West Liberty University with my Bachelors of Science in Dental Hygiene.   

I knew at an early age I wanted to help others. To me, dental hygiene is one of the most important focuses for one’s health. I feel as if it’s a calling to educate each person to properly care for their mouth. After all, a smile affects more than just one’s personal health but their mental health as well.  Everyone deserves to feel good when they smile. I make it my personal goal to educate and help every patient as best I can. I want to provide everyone the chance to feel confident with their smile. It is rewarding to know I can make a difference in someone’s smile.

When I’m not busy with preventative care, I am at home with my three cats and two dogs. I love going out on adventures with my partner – playing top golf, bowling, arcades, or checking out new Mexican restaurants. 

Christine – Dental Assistant

I joined Dr. Callahan’s team in 2011. I am a certified expanded functions dental assistant. I especially love utilizing all the new technology: 3D scanning, digital X-rays, and same-day CEREC crowns to make each patient comfortable and their visits memorable. I spend individual time with the patient: explaining the procedures, answering any questions, and attending to their needs. I love the chats I have with our patients, to catch up on their lives and families, or learn about their interests.

I’m happily married to Vincent. Together we enjoy spending time with our daughters, Vivian and Isabella. We also enjoy spending time with friends and family, shopping, and going to the movies.

Amanda – Patient Coordinator

I have been in the dental field for more than 25 years. I started as an assistant and continue to use my clinical knowledge in communicating with our patients. I am passionate about being able to assist our patients and assure they have the best experience from beginning to end.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with friends or

cuddling with my lovable Sphynx cat.
